Maskinteknik och material

Modern produktionsteknik del 1 och 2 är avsedda för grundkurser i produktionsteknik vid ingenjörs- och civilingenjörsutbildningar. I tillämpliga delar kan böckerna även användas på andra utbildningar som har behov av kunskaper inom produktionsteknik.

Huvudsyftet med böckerna är att beskriva bakomliggande teorier och samband, och med belysande exempel öka förståelsen för produktionstekniska villkor och möjligheter.

Modern produktionsteknik är uppdelad i två delar: Del 1: Grundläggande verkstadstekniska bearbetningsmetoder och mätteknik. Det 2: Verkstadsteknisk automatisering och datorstöd inom det produktionstekniska området. Den matematik och materiallära som läses vid ingenjörsutbildningen är tillräcklig för att tillgodogöra sig innehållet.

Böckerna kan läsas var och en för sig, men det underlättar förståelsen om kursplanen tillåter att båda böckerna används för hela utbildningen i produktionsteknik.

Varje kapitel avslutas med repetitionsfrågor och i förekommande fall även beräkningsuppgifter. Detta gör att böckerna även är lämpliga för självstudier.
