Chaucer Criticism, Volume 2

An ever-growing band of dedicated Chaucer scholars works to promote fuller understnding and appreciation of the remarkable art of Geoffrey Chaucer. Professors Schoeck and Taylor, who in 1960 collaborated editorially on a critical volume on the Canterbury Tales, have joined together again in this volume on other segments of Chaucer's creative output. In this book, twelve scholars build towards a mature understnading and evaluation of the Troilus, while other contributors deal with The Book of the Duchess, The House of Fame, and The Parelement of Foules.
