Be Born In Us Today

At a time when the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the wider region has captured global attention, this book creates space for readers to encounter the living Christ through the testimony of believers who continue to hope, endure and worship in the land of his birth. It invites us to ask what faithful waiting really looks like under genuine persecution, to enter into prayerful solidarity, and to rediscover that Jesus is worth everything. Daily reflections are provided for each of the 4 weeks of Advent - on the themes of 1 Hope in despair; 2 Learning from the persecuted church; 3 My soul glorifies the Lord; 4 Bethlehem, the house of bread - and for Christmas Day.
