Each entry provides brief biographical information, focuses on an analysis of the subject's rhetoric, and concludes with information on sources.

KARLYN KOHRS CAMPBELL is Professor and Chair of the Department of Speech-Communication at the University of Minnesota. She is author of Man Cannot Speak for Her (2 vols.), published by Greenwood Press, and co-author of Deeds Done in Words: Presidential Rhetoric and the Genres of Governance. She was one of the first five distinguished scholars named by the Speech Communication Association.
