Trish M. Perl is Jay P Sanford Professor of Medicine, Chief of Infectious Diseases, Division of Infectious Diseases at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas, USA. Dr. Daniel Maxwell practices in Infectious Disease and Critical Care, a field that Dr. Perl introduced him to. His residency training, chief resident year, and fellowships were all completed at UT Southwestern and he has lived in Dallas, Texas since 2013, with the exception of a two-year hiatus for a deployment with the Army National Guard and volunteer medical work in South Sudan.
