Lo is a basic neurovascular scientist. He helped develop the neurovascular unit concept (Lo, Nat Rev Neurosci 2003; Tiedt et al, Nat Rev Neurol 2022). Arthur L. Day, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained neurosurgeon with specific cerebrovascular and skull-base neurosurgery expertise. He specializes in the microsurgical treatment of brain tumors and minimally invasive spinal surgery. Dr. Day is also a professor in the Vivian L. Smith Department of Neurosurgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
