STEPHEN CHAN is Dean of Humanities and Professor in International Relations and Ethics at the Nottingham Trent University. He has contributed to both Chinese and English language journals and has also co-authored and co-edited books in both languages. - PETER MANDAVILLE is a Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Kent at Canterbury. He has published articles in journals and is the author of Reimagining the Umma: Globalisation and the Changing Boundaries of Muslim Politics.
