Timothy Doyle is Professor of Politics and International Studies at the University of Adelaide in Australia. He is also Emeritus Chair of Politics and International Relations at Keele University in the United Kingdom and a Distinguished Research Fellow at the Australia-Asia-Pacific Institute (AAPI), Curtin University, Western Australia.Dennis Rumley is Professor of Indian Ocean Studies at Curtin University, Western Australia, and Inaugural Professor of Indian Ocean Studies at the University of Western Australia. He is currently the Chair of the Indian Ocean Research Group (IORG Inc.) and was the Chief Editor of its flagship journal, the Journal of the Indian Ocean Region, for three years.
