John Kinsella is the author of more than fifty books. He is a fellow of Churchill College, University of Cambridge, and emeritus professor of literature and environment at Curtin University. He lives at Jam Tree Gully in the Western Australian wheatbelt. Harold Bloom (1930–2019), author of The Anxiety of Influence, The Western Canon, and Shakespeare: The Invention of the Human, was Sterling Professor of the Humanities at Yale. A member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters, he was awarded their highest honor, the Gold Medal for Belles Lettres and Criticism.
