    Recensioner i media

*5 stars* "...an easy-to-read unique historical and scientific narrative of an endocrine hormone that is quite popular in a wide segment of the population. The purpose of this book is to lay bare the wide-ranging claims made about testosterone replacement therapy and discuss what is evidence-based versus placebo effect,... [which] includes information regarding testosterone and mental health, aggression, so even those in behavioral fields might find this book fascinating.... [D]iscusses testosterone at different ages of life, how it is measured, missteps of the past, and how the marketing of testosterone replacement therapy has differed from other medications....There is no similar book about this topic written in this manner." --©Doody’s Review Service, 2024, Abdullah Melhim, MD (Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine)
