Aging and Durability of FRP Composites and Nanocomposites

Dr. Arya Uthaman is currently working as a post-doctoral researcher at the Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Malaysia. She completed her PhD in Engineering Mechanics at the Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 2021. Her areas of expertise are in polymer science and engineering, fiber-reinforced polymer composites, polymer nanocomposites, the durability of polymers and composites in harsh environments, degradation studies of polymer composites, and nanocomposites. Dr. Uthaman has published several peer-reviewed research articles and book chapters and also edited books with leading publishers like Elsevier, and Springer across the globe. She also worked as an Assistant professor (adhoc), at the School of Energy Materials, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India. Professor Sabu Thomas is currently an Emeritus Professor of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India. He was the former Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University. He is a Senior Professor of Christ University, Bangalore, India. He is also a visiting Professor at the Department of Chemical Sciences, University of Johannesburg, Johannesburg, South Africa, Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, and an Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Polymer and Process Engineering, IIT Roorkee, India. He is the Chairman of the TrEST Research Park, Trivandrum, Kerala, India.
