    Beskrivning

Emerging Trends and Imminent Applications in Immunology and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology delves into historical perspectives, current trends, and future projections for research and development of immunological and biopharmaceutical products. Sections explore immunostimulants, natural and synthetic immunostimulants in aquaculture and animal husbandry, immunomodulators, immune boosters, pre- and probiotics in health promotion, cutting-edge immunological techniques for disease diagnosis, immunotherapy in cancer treatment, and transplantation immunology. Following chapters explore the impact on pharmaceutical biotechnology, with discussions on traditional and modern approaches in drug delivery, in silico drug delivery modeling, biocomposites and their pharmaceutical applications, recent advances in monoclonal antibodies production, vaccine development, and much more. Finally, the book covers the pivotal role of AI, machine learning, and data analytics in the clinical study of immunotherapy and pharmaceutical drugs, thus paving the way for enhanced research and development efficiency. Researchers in industry and academia alike will gain valuable insights into the novel principles behind designing and developing immunological and drug products, making this title an essential resource.

    • Bridges the gap between immunology and pharmaceutical biotechnology
    • Focuses on recent developments in immunologic mechanisms and their applications in biotech-derived pharmaceuticals
    • Covers immunostimulants, immunomodulators, pre- and probiotics, vaccines, diagnostic kits, and other biotechnologically-derived products
    • Discusses basic and applied concepts of AI and machine learning tools and their role in drug screening and development
