Acharya Balkrishna is a distinguished Indian Ayurveda scholar, entrepreneur, and co-founder of Patanjali Ayurved Ltd., one of India’s fastest-growing FMCG companies. As Managing Director and principal shareholder, he has played a pivotal role in the revival and global promotion of Ayurveda and yoga. He has been listed among the top 2% of scientists worldwide in the Stanford University–Elsevier rankings from 2022 through 2025. Dr. Balkrishna is also a prolific writer, with an extensive body of work comprising books and journal publications across Ayurveda, agriculture, information technology, and yoga. He has further supported the preservation of traditional knowledge through the editing of previously unpublished ancient Ayurvedic manuscripts. Among his best-known publications, Aushadh Darshan has achieved remarkable success, with more than 10 million copies sold, while Nav Harit Kranti is regarded as a pioneering contribution to Indian agriculture.
