Dr. Keluo Yao is the Physician Lead for Pathology Informatics and a cytopathologist at Cedars-Sinai, in Los Angeles, Ca. Dr. Yao is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, cytopathology, and clinical informatics. Academic contributions include peer-reviewed articles in the areas of digital pathology and AI and chapters in pathology textbooks. Dr. Yao is currently an assistant editor for the Journal of Pathology Informatics and am a member of the College of American Pathologists' Pathology Electronic Reporting (PERT) Committee.Dr. Liron Pantanowitz is the recipient of numerous awards, including a Distinguished Service Award from the Association for Pathology Informatics. He is a practicing general and subspecialized surgical and cytopathologist with special interest and expertise in bone and soft tissue pathology. Over his extraordinary 15+ years at Tufts University School of Medicine, the University of Massachusetts, Baystate Medical Center, and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Liron achieved regional, national and international recognition as a leader in our field. His track record of success includes 447 peer-reviewed publications, ~100 book chapters and over 200 invited presentations.Dr. Joshua Levy is the Director of Digital Pathology Research at Cedars-Sinai, where he also serves as Associate Director of the Cedars-Sinai AI Campus. He is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Pathology and Computational Biomedicine at Cedars-Sinai and holds adjunct appointments in Pathology, Dermatology, and Epidemiology at Dartmouth College Geisel School of Medicine. His research focuses on integrating AI and biostatistics into anatomic pathology, with a special interest in computational methods for histopathology and cytopathology, as well as text and image processing. In addition, Dr. Levy utilizes spatial genomics technologies to study tumor progression and metastasis. He directs the national EDIT AI internship program, fostering over 250 students from diverse backgrounds in exploring AI’s role in medicine. He holds additional appointments at the Biomedical National Elemental Imaging Resource, Veteran Affairs, and is an associate member of NCI’s Translational and Basic Science Research in Early Lesions program.
