Magdalena Mieloszyk is an associate professor at the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IMP PAN), where she has been since 2006, earning her PhD in Mechanics in 2011 and DSc in 2019 from the same institute. She collaborates with various scientific institutions, including Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania on additive manufacturing composites with embedded FBG sensors, Aarhus University in Denmark on thin metamaterials for lightweight structures, and Hohai University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University in China on 3D Laser Scanning Vibrometers. Budzik is an associate professor in the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering at Aarhus University, where he has been since 2012, after obtaining his PhD in Material Engineering from Gdańsk University of Technology in Poland in 2010. He has worked for the LEGO Group in Billund, Denmark, in Materials R&D during 2022-2023 and was a visiting professor at the University of Pennsylvania in 2021. Prior to his current role, he was employed at the Institute for Engineering and Materials, CNRS in Bordeaux, France, from 2010 to 2012.
