Dr. Xiaoe Yang is Yangtze River Scholar Professor at Zhejiang University, China, ASA Fellow; receiver of Outstanding Young Scientist from National Natural Science Foundation of China, Special Experts (Academee) from Zhejiang Provincial Government, Outstanding Young Women in Rice Science from International Rice Research Institute, the state outstanding contribution of young and middle-aged experts; National March 8th Red-Banner Pacesetter from China Women Federation, National Advanced Female Worker from China Federation of Trade Unions, etc. She takes leadership of National Key Discipline –Agricultural Resource and Environment, the Key Laboratory of Environmental Remediation and Ecosystem Health, Ministry of Education of China, the president of Trace Elements and Health Society of Zhejiang, and committee of several national societies and international meeting organizations. She is also on the editorial board member of several international and national journals.Her main research areas include environmental ecology of plant nutrition, phytoremediation of contaminated soils and waters, micronutrient nutrition human health. She has been in charge of over 20 large research programs as principal researcher, secured research funding totaling 9 billion Yuan RMB from central government and provincial agencies as well as Agricultural Bureau in the last 10 years. Dr. Yang has authored or co-authored 3 books, 14 book chapters, 400 international and 160 national refereed publications. Her publications were cited >37000 times by refereed scholarly journals. In addition, she has obtained 36 patents and 15 of them have been transferred to the enterprises concerned. Parts of her research have been achieved 6 prizes for the advancement in science and technologies from education ministry of China and Zhejiang provincial government. Dr. Yasir Hamid is working as an International Exchange Postdoc Fellow at College of Environmental and Resource Sciences, Zhejiang University from May 2021. In 2020, he received his PhD from Zhejiang University, China under Two High Doctoral Scholarship program of Zhejiang University. Dr. Hamid’s research focuses on agro-environmental contamination by potentially toxic elements such as cadmium, lead, arsenic, copper and chromium. His work expertise includes plant nutrition, soil chemistry and environmental sciences with specific focus on abatement of heavy metal risks and their remediation technologies. Dr. Hamid has authored around 65 peer reviewed papers in reputable international journals as a first and co-author. He has also delivered oral and poster presentations in international conferences held in Asian and European countries. Dr. Hamid is a regular reviewer of several international journals of various publishing groups. Dr. Hamid is currently collaborating with reputable scientists of environmental science field from Oman, Australia, United States, Germany and Canada for various writing projects.Dr. Ioannis Anastopoulos is an associate professor at the Department of Agriculture, University of Ioannina, Arta, Greece. He has conducted postdoctoral research at the Agricultural Research Institute (Cyprus), the University of Patras (Greece), the University of Cyprus (Cyprus), and the Hellenic Mediterranean University (Greece). His research focuses on the estimation of greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural soils following the application of organic and inorganic materials, the development of adsorbent materials for wastewater treatment, and the use of organic amendments for soil remediation. He has authored more than 130 articles in peer-reviewed journals with over 12,000 citations and has been included among the Top 2% Scientists worldwide for the years 2019–24 (Stanford list, Elsevier).
