Somaya Al-Maadeed received a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Nottingham, U.K. 2004. She is currently with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Qatar University, Doha, Qatar, and the Computer Vision and AI Research Group Coordinator. She enjoys excellent collaboration with national and international institutions and industry. She is a Principal Investigator of several funded research projects generating approximately five million. She has published extensively in the fields of pattern recognition, computer vision, and machine learning. She has attended workshops on higher education strategy, assessment methods, and interactive teaching. Dr. AlMaadeed was elected as the IEEE Chair for the Qatar Section in 2015.Moutaz Saleh received a Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2008. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Qatar University. His research interests include assistive technology, adaptive learning, computer vision, and artificial intelligence. He has published over 70 refereed articles in reputable international journals and conferences. He has served as a Technical Program Committee for Elsevier Computer Communications, IEEE Transactions on Learning Technologies, Springer Journal Education and Information Technologies, Springer Journal Multimedia Tools and Applications, IEEE Access, and IEEE (LCN, ICT, AICCSA, APCC, GCC, ICC, EDUCON, and TALE) conferences. He received several professional awards and collaborated as a principal investigator in multiple internal and externally funded research projects.Dr. Rajesh Kumar Muthu is an academician, accomplished researcher, entrepreneur and an International consultant . He has over 25 years of teaching and research experience across India (2000–2010, 2015–2021, 2023–2025), the United Kingdom (2010–2015), and Mauritius (2022, 2025–Present). He is a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), U.K., and a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). In 2010, he was awarded a prestigious Research Scholarship for his Ph.D. in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K. He served as Co-PI in a Royal Academy of Engineering, U.K.-funded project (2022–2024) and was invited as an International Transversal Researcher under the France–Mauritius ULIMA project in 2024. He currently serves as a Principal Consultant (2024) for a project in India focused on identifying behavioral patterns in children, and as a Co-Consultant (2025) for a project on audiorelated applications in South Korea.
