Dr. Thakur Gurjeet Singh is a pharmacology researcher with extensive graduate training in clinical and preclinical drug development. His work focuses on the neuroprotective mechanisms of pharmacological preconditioning in neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinsonism, stroke, epilepsy, and dementia. He has investigated key protective pathways involving adenosine, opioids, CGRP, calcium signaling, protein kinase-C, heat shock proteins, and MAP kinase. His research also explores novel therapeutic pathways using agents such as morphine and capsaicin, with additional expertise in mechanistic studies of substance dependence, including nicotine, alcohol, and morphine addiction. Dr. Singh’s core competencies include animal model development and validation, anesthetic and preconditioning techniques, histopathological analysis, and behavioral data evaluation. His broader interests include ALS, stem cell therapy, and movement disorders such as tardive dyskinesia.Rajwinder Kaur is Assistant Dean of Pharm D (Academics) at Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Chitkara University, Punjab, India. She has extensive experience in teaching and research and has held academic and research positions, including appointment as a DST Women Scientist at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Her research focuses on computational drug design, fused heterocyclic compounds, nanomedicine, and the application of artificial intelligence in pharmaceutical research, with particular interests in inflammation, asthma, and neurological disorders. Dr. Kaur has contributed extensively to the scientific literature through scholarly publications, book chapters, and editorial work. She is actively involved in academic and research initiatives that promote innovation in pharmaceutical sciences and interdisciplinary drug discovery. She is a Senior Member of the Hong Kong Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society (HKCBEES) and a Life Member of the Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association (IPGA). Dr. Rupinder Kaur is Assistant Professor at Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Chitkara University, Punjab, India. Her research interests revolve around management and advancement of pharmacotherapeutic approaches towards kidney diseases. Dr. Sumitha Elayaperumal is Assistant Professor at the JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysore, Karnataka. Her specialization is on molecular diagnosis of Coagulation platelet, thrombotic, and oncology disorders. Dr. Nitin Gupta is Director for Neelam Hospital, Rajpura, Punjab. Dr. Gupta is a leading urologist, laparoscopy, and renal transplant surgeon with a strong interest in advanced laparoscopic procedures. He has performed over 5000 endourological procedures, including more than 1200 PCNLs and over 1500 advanced laparoscopic surgeries such as laparoscopic donor nephrectomy, pyeloplasty, and nephrectomy.
