    Beskrivning

Green Microbial Nanotechnology for Sensors: New and Future Developments in Microbial Biotechnology and Bioengineering presents a comprehensive examination of sustainable sensor technologies. The book focuses on the development of eco-friendly sensor solutions that leverage microbial systems alongside nanomaterials. By addressing the intersection of these fields, the book aims to advance sensor technologies that are not only efficient but also environmentally conscious. The book is structured into six parts, beginning with the fundamentals of green microbial nanotechnology for sensors, which covers essential topics such as synthesis techniques, integration into sensor platforms, and the environmental impact of these technologies.

Subsequent sections explore applications in environmental monitoring, including air and water quality assessments, as well as biomedical applications like early disease detection and wearable health monitoring. The industrial monitoring section addresses emissions, waste management, and smart city applications, while case studies and future perspectives provide insights into the ethical considerations and challenges in scaling up production.

    • Explores how microbial nanotechnology can improve the sensitivity and specificity of sensors, leading to more accurate and reliable detection of various analytes, including toxins, pathogens, and environmental pollutants
    • Highlights the biocompatibility of microbial nanomaterials for use in medical and environmental applications
    • Covers applications for microbial nanotechnology-based sensors, including biomedical diagnostics, environmental monitoring, food safety, and industrial process control
