Zhe-Sheng Chen, PhD., opened the St. John’s University’s first cancer pharmacology laboratory. His research interest is multidrug resistance and its reversal, novel anti-cancer drug development. Chen has over 170 papers published, co-edited Protein Kinase Inhibitors as Sensitizing Agents for Chemotherapy book (Elsevier), and holds several patents. Saurabh Kumar Jha is Assistant Professor at Kalindi College, University of Delhi, India. His research focuses on stem cell biology, neurodegeneration, aging, molecular chaperones, ubiquitin E3 ligases, and biomolecule-based therapeutics. His work investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative disorders and the development of therapeutic strategies based on stem cells and biologically derived molecules. In addition to his research activities, he contributes to teaching, curriculum development, and the supervision of postgraduate and doctoral students. Jha is actively involved in scientific collaborations, professional societies, and academic conferences, with research interests spanning stem cell biology, neurobiology, and translational biomedical science. Dr. Neha Gupta is an Assistant Professor in Biotechnology at Jiwaji University, Gwalior, with a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and extensive experience in research and teaching. She has received multiple awards recognizing her research excellence in biological sciences and has held an international research role in microbiology and molecular biology. Her academic background includes teaching, mentoring postgraduate students, and guiding research projects. Her scholarly contributions include numerous publications, as well as authorship of a patent, a book, and several book chapters. She has actively participated in national and international conferences. Her research focuses on bioactive compounds derived from food, their biological functions, and the application of advanced screening, bioinformatics, and computational approaches.
