The book contains 25 chapters covering basic and clinical aspects of viruses, including HPV, HBV, HCV, polyomaviruses, Kaposi’s associated viruses, retroviruses (including HIV-1 associated malignancies), and EBV. Several chapters are devoted to basic science of oncogenic viruses for the study of their pathogenesis, drug development, and employment of viral vectors for vaccine and gene therapy.
