Beskrivning

Theology in service of the church must be deeply rooted in Scripture and tradition, sensitive to the contemporary context, shaped through deep engagement with liturgical theology and worship practices, engaged in ecumenical conversation, and focused on personal and congregational transformation. These essays by distinguished pastors, scholars, and church leaders in honor of Joseph Small serve as an introduction to ecclesial theology in the Reformed tradition. The contours of this collection are shaped by Joe Small's three primary concerns: theological integrity, liturgical leadership, and ecumenical engagement.
