Urban Landscape

This text, the first of its kind, is a collection of classic articles in the field of urban sociology. The book also draws from current research on various types of urban problems. Readers will find that The Urban Landscape stands out from other works which do not address the issues and relationships of theory and research. This work allows students to understand the theoretical side of urban theory as well as to see practical applications of contemporary urban problems. The book is targeted primarily to undergraduates in urban studies or sociology courses. Both graduate and undergraduate seminars will be able to make good use of this unique yet pragmatic text.
