The final words of the Gospel of John might also be written about John's gospel itself: "There are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written" (21:25). John's gospel has inspired Christian believers and challenged biblical scholars since the time of its composition. Why does it inspire? Why does it challenge?In this commentary, Dr. Jonathan D.
