Literary History of Canada

William H. New is a Canadian poet and literary critic. He taught English at the University of British Columbia from 1965 to 2003. In 2007, he was named an Officer of the Order of Canada. For 29 years, he held editorial positions at Canadian Literature and, in 2004, was made Editor Emeritus.Carl Berger, FRSC, is an emeritus professor in the Department of History at the University of Toronto.Alan Cairns is a professor emeritus of political science at the University of British Columbia and adjunct professor of political science at the University of Waterloo.Francess G.
