Fr. Mark G. Boyer, a retired priest of the Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is the author of fifty books, including three editions of The Liturgical Environment, on biblical and liturgical spirituality. He continues as a part-time instructor in the Religious Studies Department of Missouri State University, Springfield, where he has taught courses in New Testament and Bible and Film for twenty-eight years.
