James Wynbrandt is the author of A Brief History of Saudi Arabia for Facts On File and Checkmark Books. As a journalist, his work has appeared in the The New York Times, Management Review, Forbes, Smithsonian Air & Space, and many other national publications. He lives in New York City. Fawaz A. Gerges holds the Christian A. Johnson Chair in International Affairs and Middle Eastern Studies at Sarah Lawrence College. He is the author of The Far Enemy: Why Jihad Went Global and Journey of the Jihadist: Inside Muslim Milltancy. Gerges is a senior analyst for ABC television news. He lives in northern New Jersey.
