Default and Rescheduling

Two international conferences, one in London in late 1981 and the other in New York, provide the basis for this book. This collection of papers explores the major issues in international defaults and debt rescheduling or 'workouts' with respect to both corporate and sovereign borrowings in this new era of international banking and multinational corporations. It is written by practicing lawyers and bankers who have day-to-day experience dealing with international debt problems.
