This book sheds light on theoretical and practical perspectives and illustrates ways in which tourism practices cause or perpetuate inequities and injustices on people, animals, and the environments of destinations. By doing so, the book offers further insight into who benefits from tourism, how tourism can be made fairer and more just, and at the more extreme end, how tourism can be mobilised as a tool for securing justice. This significant book is a must-read for academics, researchers, and students interested in tourism governance and destination management.
