He is an internationally recognised specialist in the international relations of the Indo-Pacific, with a specific focus on Japan.Soul Park is Lecturer in International Relations at the School of Politics, Philosophy, Language and Communication Studies, University of East Anglia, UK. His main research and teaching interests are in international security, strategic studies, international relations theory and qualitative methods.Matilde Rosina is Lecturer in International Relations at the College of Business, Arts and Social Sciences, Brunel University London, UK.
