    Karthik Kannan is an Assistant Research Fellow (Globally Research Assistant Professor) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan. He also serves as an Honorary Research Fellow at Shinawatra University, Thailand, and as a Distinguished Adjunct Professor at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, India, and Saveetha Institute of Technical and Medical Sciences, India. He is a recipient of the Taiwan Employment Gold Card (Science and Technology) approved by the National Science and Technology Council and was awarded the prestigious Brain Pool Fellowship from the National Research Foundation of Korea. His international research experience spans Israel, Australia, and Qatar. Dr. Kannan recently secured competitive research funding of NTD 1.15 million from the National Science and Technology Council for his work on green hydrogen production via advanced electrocatalysis. He has published over 170 peer-reviewed articles with more than 8,800 citations (h-index: 60) and serves on the editorial boards of several international journals. Recognized globally, he has been listed among Stanford University’s World’s Top 2% Scientists for six consecutive years (2020–2025).Yong-Song Chen is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, where his research focused on modeling water transport in proton exchange membrane fuel cells. He also holds M.S. and B.S. degrees from National Taiwan University, Taiwan, with specialization in materials science and mechanical engineering. His research interests include flow batteries and fuel cells, particularly for applications in energy storage systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, and unmanned underwater vehicles. He has extensive experience in electrochemical energy systems and advanced materials, with a strong focus on improving performance and efficiency. Prior to his current position, he served as a Specialist in the Materials and Electro-Optics Research Division at Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, Taiwan. At National Chung Cheng University, he has held academic positions as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and currently Professor. Prof. Chen has received several recognitions, including the Excellent Teaching Award (2021), Excellent Mentor Awards (2017, 2020), and Young Scholar Awards (2017), reflecting his contributions to both research and education.Yuan-Yao Li is a distinguished professor at National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Bath, UK, in 1998 and later conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Tokyo from 1998 to 2001. In 2018-2019, he served as a visiting scholar at Stanford University. His research focuses on carbon nanomaterials, electrocatalysts, metal-air batteries, metal-ion batteries, and fuel cells.
