Dr Prabhakar Semwal is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Graphic Era (Deemed to be) University, Dehradun, India. He earned his PhD in Plant Biotechnology from Banaras Hindu University (2019) and is the recipient of the Green Talents Award from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Germany (2018). His research centers on plant-microbe interactions, bioremediation of pesticides, phytoremediation, and microbial functional diversity under warming climates in Himalayan soils.
