How to Succeed Studying Mathematics

This richly illustrated book supports students studying maths at later secondary school or university. It offers guidance and tips on how to get the most from studying maths and aims to encourage students when the going gets tougher. It also provides guidance on the kind of careers available to those who have studied maths, and how to progress into such opportunities. The book consists of a series of 19 checklists on different aspects of learning maths, together with more detailed explanation. The intention is that, having read the book, learners may return to the checklists when they need support or encouragement. There are original illustrations by Vanilla Beer throughout the book. The intended readership is later secondary (in England, Key Stage 4 or 5) or university students studying maths or related subjects like statistics or data science.
