Dirty Laundry

Dirty Laundry: A Pocket Aftershock from The Aftershock Review is a sharp, intimate anthology of poems about what is hidden, exposed, washed, worn, inherited and survived. Drawing on The Aftershock Review's commitment to poetry from the aftermath, this Pocket Aftershock brings together poems of domestic life, shame, secrecy, desire, family, class, body, memory and repair. These are poems that understand the private world as politically charged, emotionally dangerous and unexpectedly alive. Bold, funny, tender and unsettling, Dirty Laundry turns towards the things usually kept out of sight and asks what happens when they are finally aired.
