Nick McGrath, a bipolar LA Times reporter with a history of hospitalizations becomes obsessed with the murder of the girl next door. As Nick embarks on a manic search for the truth, we experience people and events through a mind that is, at times, under the grip of delusion and paranoia. Under these circumstances, can justice be served? Or will darkness rule the day?
