She is the author of numerous articles and book chapters on Onitsha Igbo society, media and modern magic in southern Nigeria, Nigerian Pentecostalism in the twenty-first century, as well as on British colonialists and their encounters with Igbo-speaking peoples from 1870-1930. SUSAN KINGSLEY KENT Professor of History at the University of Colorado, Boulder, USA. She is the author of various publications including, most recently, History of Western Civilization since 1500: An Ecological Approach (2008, 2010); and Aftershocks: Politics and Trauma in Britain, 1918-1931 (2009).
