Bird is Associate Professor at the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC, Canada.Laura James works as a researcher in the National Centre for Australian Studies at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Birger Stichelbaut is a post-doctoral researcher at the Centre for Historical and Archaeological Aerial Photography - a collaborative initiative between Ghent University, the In Flanders Fields Museum and the Province of West-Flanders – and is engaged with aerial photography, archaeology and the conflict landscape of World War I.Jean Bourgeois is Professor at Ghent University in Belgium and Head of the Department of Archaeology.
