Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners

How strongly can you hold on to your principles? How much are you willing to sacrifice for what you believe in?

The author, John Bunyan, was arrested because of his faith. And when given an ultimatum to stop preaching or face trial, he left his pregnant wife and four children and spent 12 years in prison, where he remained resolute and wrote this masterpiece.

This book is Bunyan''s spiritual autobiography, his pilgrimage from a profane life filled with cursing and blasphemy, to becoming one of the most prominent religious authors in English literature.

It captures amazing moments of self-discovery, and narrates the agonizing turmoil of doubt.

It chronicles every incident and every person that gradually brought him to faith and repentance, but not without a long struggle with guilt.

"Oh, the remembrance of my great sins, of my great temptations, and of my great fear of perishing forever! They bring afresh into my mind the remembrance of my great help, my great supports from Heaven, and the great grace that God extended to such a wretch as I."

~John Bunyan
