Exegesis and Hermeneutics in the Churches of the East

The Editor: Vahan S. Hovhanessian holds a Ph.D. in biblical studies from Fordham University. He is currently the chairman of the Bible in the Eastern and Oriental Orthodox Traditions unit of the Society of Biblical Literature (SBL) and Professor of Biblical Studies at St. Nersess Armenian Seminary in New Rochelle, New York. He has published books, chapters in books, and many articles in the fields of biblical and Armenian Church studies. He is a member of the Monastic Order of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin in Armenia.
