Crossway was founded as a not-for-profit ministry in 1938 to publish gospel-centered, Bible-based content that will honor our Savior and serve his church. We seek to help people understand the massive implications of the gospel and the truth of God’s Word, for all of life, for all eternity, and for the glory of God.Lydia Brownback (MAR, Westminster Theological Seminary) is the author of several books in addition to the Flourish Bible Study series, including A Woman’s Wisdom: How the Book of Proverbs Speaks to Everything; Finding God in My Loneliness; and Sing a New Song. She is a regular speaker at conferences and events and is passionate about teaching God’s word.Lauren Chandler is a writer, speaker, singer, and the wife of Matt Chandler, pastor of The Village Church in Flower Mound, Texas.Elyse Fitzpatrick (MA, Trinity Theological Seminary) is a counselor, a retreat and conference speaker, and the author of over twenty books, including Because He Loves Me; Comforts from the Cross; and Found in Him.Gloria Furman (MACE, Dallas Theological Seminary) lives in the Middle East where her husband, Dave, serves as the pastor of Redeemer Church of Dubai. She is the author of many books, including Labor with Hope; Treasuring Christ When Your Hands Are Full; and Glimpses of Grace.  Kristyn Getty is an author and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter. Her voice is synonymous with hymns, having founded, along with her husband, Keith, the Getty Music Organization, which helps people learn the Bible through hymns to carry for life. She is particularly passionate about helping children and families learn their faith through song. Kristyn is the author of Sing! How Worship Transforms Your Life, Family, and Church. The Gettys are originally from Northern Ireland and now live in Nashville, Tennessee, with their four daughters.Nancy Guthrie (MATS Reformed Theological Seminary) teaches the Bible at her home church, Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Franklin, Tennessee, as well as at conferences around the country and internationally, including her Biblical Theology Workshop for Women. She is the author of numerous books and the host of the Help Me Teach the Bible podcast with the Gospel Coalition. She and her husband founded Respite Retreats for couples who have faced the death of a child, and they are cohosts of the GriefShare video series. Trillia Newbell is the author of numerous books, Bible studies, and children’s books, including God’s Very Good Idea; The Big Wide Welcome; and Creative God, Colorful Us. Newbell is the acquisitions director at Moody Publishers and lives with her husband, Thern, and two children near Nashville, Tennessee.Dane C. Ortlund (PhD, Wheaton College) serves as senior pastor of Naperville Presbyterian Church in Naperville, Illinois. He is the author of Gentle and Lowly and Deeper. Dane and his wife, Stacey, have five children.Jani Ortlund is a well-known writer and conference speaker. She is the wife of Raymond Ortlund Jr., who is an author, a former seminary professor and pastor, and the president at Renewal Ministries. Jani, a former schoolteacher, holds a master’s degree in education and serves as executive vice president at Renewal Ministries (ortlund.net). The Ortlunds have four children and fifteen grandchildren.Joni Eareckson Tada is CEO of Joni and Friends, a global ministry that serves the practical and spiritual needs of people with disabilities. She is also an artist and the author of numerous bestselling books, including Joni; A Place of Healing; and When God Weeps. Joni and her husband, Ken, reside in Calabasas, California.Jen Wilkin is a Bible teacher from Dallas, Texas. An advocate for Bible literacy, she has organized and led studies for women in home, church, and parachurch contexts. She is a contributor to the ESV Student Study Bible and the ESV Women’s Study Bible.Kristie Anyabwile (MS, North Caolina State University) is a pastor's wife, mom, Bible teacher and editor of His Testimonies, My Heritage: Women of Color on the Word of God. She works with the Charles Simeon Trust as the Associate Director of Women's Workshops, training and equipping Bible teachers. She disciples and teaches women in her church, and joyfully supports her husband of 28 years, Thabiti, as he pastors Anacostia River Church in Washington, DC. They have 2 young adult children and one teenager.Brian S. Borgman (DMin, Westminster Seminary California) is the founding pastor of Grace Community Church in Minden, Nevada. He is the author of My Heart for Thy Cause. He and his wife have three children and live in northwestern Nevada.Mike Bullmore (PhD, Northwestern University) served as the founding and senior pastor of CrossWay Community Church in Bristol, Wisconsin, for 25 years. He now spends his time in various venues helping to train the next generation of faithful pastors. Mike lives in Kenosha, Wisconsin, with his wife, Beverly. They have three children.CAROL W. CORNISH has been a biblical counselor for over 20 years and is a regular speaker at women’s seminars, workshops, and retreats. She co-edited and co-authored Women Helping Women, which was a finalist for the Gold Medallion Book Award.Dan Doriani (PhD, Westminster Theological Seminary) is a former pastor and currently serves as professor of biblical and systematic theology at Covenant Theological Seminary, where he previously served as academic dean or vice president for fifteen years. Dan has been involved in several planning and study committees at the presbytery level in both the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC). She is the author of several books and Bible studies.Glenna Marshall (BA, Union University) is a pastor’s wife and mother of two sons. She is the author of The Promise Is His Presence; Everyday Faithfulness; Memorizing Scripture; and Known and Loved. She is a member of Grace Bible Fellowship in Sikeston, Missouri, where she and her husband have served for over twenty years.Carolyn McCulley is a speaker, filmmaker, and award-winning author. In 2009, she founded Citygate Films, where she works as a producer, director, and editor. Starr Meade served as the director of children’s ministries for ten years at her local church and taught Latin and Bible for eight years at a Christian school. She is a graduate of Arizona College of the Bible and has authored a number of books. Starr has been a mother, a missionary, a school teacher, a director of children’s ministries, and an author. The calling she feels most honored to have been given is that of support to her husband through ten years of Alzheimer’s disease. That ministry ended with his death in 2023, a few months short of their 50th wedding anniversary.Kathleen Nielson (PhD, Vanderbilt University) is an author and speaker who loves working with women in studying the Scriptures. After directing the Gospel Coalition’s women’s initiatives from 2010–2017, she now serves as senior adviser and book editor for TGC. She and her husband, Niel, make their home partly in Wheaton, Illinois, and partly in Jakarta, Indonesia. They have three sons, two daughters-in-law, and five granddaughters.Robert A. Peterson (PhD, Drew University) is a writer and theologian. He taught for many years at various theological seminaries and has written or edited over thirty books.Jenny Salt (MDiv, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) is the dean of students at Sydney Missionary and Bible College. Claire S. Smith (PhD, Moore Theological College/University of Western Sydney) is an independent researcher, a writer, and a women’s Bible teacher. She is the author of God’s Good Design: What the Bible Really Says about Men and Women, and Pauline Communities as ‘Scholastic Communities’: A Study of the Vocabulary of ‘Teaching’ in 1 Corinthians, 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus. She and her husband are members of Naremburn Cammeray Anglican Church in Sydney. They have a married son and daughter-in-law.Sam Storms (PhD, University of Texas at Dallas) is the founder and president of Enjoying God Ministries and serves on the council of the Gospel Coalition. Sam served as visiting associate professor of theology at Wheaton College and is a past president of the Evangelical Theological Society. He is the author or editor of 37 books and blogs regularly at SamStorms.org. Sam and his wife, Ann, are the parents of two daughters and grandparents of four.Donna Thoennes formerly served as a Biola University faculty member in the Torrey Honors College and currently serves as an adjunct professor. She earned a PhD from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and has contributed to publications on parenting, church, marriage, and discipleship, as well as commentaries and devotionals. She is thankful for opportunities to serve as a speaker at conferences, retreats, and on college campuses. Donna is married to Erik and has four young adult children.Kristen Wetherell is a wife, mother, writer, and speaker. Kristen is a member of The Orchard and lives in Chicagoland with her husband and three children.Mary Willson Hannah (PhD, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) presently serves as the director of women in ministry for Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis, Tennessee, and as professor of Old Testament at Memphis City Seminary. Amy Warren (MAHT, Westminster Seminary California) is Bible Project Manager at Crossway and is a member at Christ Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Wheaton, Illinois.
