Federalist Papers

In their hope to promote the ratification of the United States Constitution to the American people, statesmen Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay, writing under the pseudonym “Publius,” published eighty-five articles and essays between October 1777 and April 1778 under the title The Federalist.
