Charles A. Carpenter is Professor Emeritus at Binghamton University, USA. He has over forty years experience of teaching modern drama and literary bibliography and is a specialist in compiling bibliographies of modern dramatists. His publications include Modern Drama Scholarship and Criticism 1966-1980: An International Bibliography (University of Toronto Press, 1986) and Modern Drama Scholarship and Criticism 1981-1990: An International Bibliography (University of Toronto Press, 1997).
