Marcella McCarthy is a practising secondary teacher, active researcher, and former Lecturer at Oxford University. Marcella McCarthy is an AST in both English and Gifted and Talented Education and a consultant for English to schools across Oxfordshire. She is an Advanced Lead Practitioner for the SSAT, writer of a regular blog on behaviour management for Promethean Planet, and Shakespeare advisor for the BBC.

What I like about all of Marcella's ideas is that you can try them tomorrow. They don't need vast resourcing and lots of preparation.
