“Ghetto Comedies” is a 1907 novel by British author Israel Zangwill (1864–1926). Contents include: “How I Found The Model”, “The Model''s Story”, “The Picture Evolves”, “I Become A Sorter”, “Last Stage Of All”, “Anglicization”, “The Jewish Trinity”, etc. Highly recommended for fans and collectors of Zangwill''s seminal literature.Zangwill was a leading figure in cultural Zionism during the 19th century, as well as close friend of father of modern political Zionism, Theodor Herzl.
