Eoin (pronounced “Owen”) Colfer has written several bestselling children’s novels, including the Artemis Fowl series, which has been translated into forty-two languages and won several international awards. Eoin has always had a strong sense of fairness, and in response to Article 24 he wrote his story about the injustice of a child whose youth is cut short through no fault of his own.
