Susan Steuer holds a PhD in medieval history from the University of Minnesota and a MLS from Indiana University. She is currently the Cistercian Studies and Rare Book and Special Collections Librarian at Western Michigan University. E. Rozanne Elder was the director of the Institute of Cistercian Studies and Editorial Director of Cistercian Publications until 2008, when she returned to teaching. She is now professor emerita of history at WMU.
