Dr. Victoria Boyd, President and Founder of the GALAXY group, has been a driving force in education, business and non-profit arenas as an educator, trainer, administrator and advocate throughout the country. She provides guidance and training in organizational management, and offers individual coaching and business development. Holding a Doctorate in Organizational Studies from Wayne State University, Dr. Boyd has been instrumental in helping numerous individuals and organizations to reach their full potential. Beginning her career in education, she soon became a writer for the Detroit Public School District and Michigan state curricula a citywide dance coordinator, a presenter of professional development workshops and a coordinator of city and state events. Her career shifted when she became a Wayne County Regional Educational Service Agency (Wayne RESA) Arts/Education Consultant, serving 36 school districts and numerous charter schools. She also had a pivotal role as a developer of professional training opportunities, teacher certification standards and other statewide educational initiatives. With this wide array of skills, she transitioned into the business sector as a consultant for small business development.Now based in Las Vegas, Nevada, Dr. Boyd continues to focus on providing quality training and guidance. The Dr. Victoria Boyd and Center Stage Leadership brands offer complete levels of support and training via video training, webinars and live workshops in which Dr. Boyd guides participants through an interactive process of self-assessment, alignment and business development. Author of The Wealthy Teacher, 10 Tips for Educators to Get off the Roller Coaster and Increase Income, and 10 Tips for Effective Nonprofit Management, she focuses her writings around the central theme of pursuing and fostering a values-centered approach to leadership. Other workshops offered by CSL include the Leadership Spa and the Legacy Leadership Institute, all focused on building leadership capacity.
