Local Governments

This book introduces young readers to local governments of the United States, including city and county government, their roles, their relationships with federal and state governments, and how people take office at the local level. This Focus Readers title is at the Pioneer level, aligned to reading levels of grades 1-2 and interest levels of grades 1-3.
