This beautiful book was published to coincide with the 2017 exhibition at the Art Gallery of New South Wales brilliantly curated by Nicholas Chambers.
Besides the many pictures of Warhol's drawings for various magazines, record covers and advertising projects there are erudite essays on aspects of Warhol's life and work.
The book is a useful introduction to Warhol's work before he turned himself into a great artist in the early 1960s. It deserves its place in any collection of books on Andy Warhol's art and artistic development.
