He was the founding partner of theOlympic Park Sports Medicine Centre and a President of the Australasian Collegeof Sport and Exercise Physicians. Peter has served as Australian team doctor atthe Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup. He was Head of Sports Medicine and SportsScience at Liverpool Football Club before spending 5 years as the Australiancricket team doctor. Peter hasbeen awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (2006) and the 2025 VIC SeniorAustralian of the Year. KARIMKHAN AO MD, PhD, FACSEP, DipSportMed (CASEM)KarimKhan is a Sport and Exercise Physician and Professor at the University ofBritish Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. He was Scientific Director of Canada’sInstitute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis (CIHR-IMHA) and Editor of theBritish Journal of Sports Medicine (2008–20). He holds honorary doctorates fromthe Norwegian School of Sport Sciences, the University of Edinburgh and McGillUniversity. Karim is an Officer of the Order of Australia (2019).
